This front sight has been increased in height by .020” (.200"tall) over the factory height (.180"tall) to be optimized with 125-135 JHP self defense ammo, when used with the Snake Sight rear blade. This will let you zero the rear sight without the rear sight being jacked up excessively high.
The serrated sight blade is made in the Improved Ramp pattern to give a sharper, blacker sight image, yet still be good for holster carry in modern good quality gun leather.
The HD Snake Sight front sight is offered in serrated plain black blade, supplied standard with a 14k gold bead, high polished flat face.
Optionally, we offer a high polished domed bead at a $40 upcharge and approx 2 week lead time.
The front sight is supplied with a spare set screw and a .050" hex key.
