This front sight has been increased in height by .050” (.230"tall) over the factory height (.180"tall) to be used to correct pistols that are shooting higher than the rear sight will adjust. This will let you zero the rear sight without the rear sight being bottomed out. The front sight blade is made in the Improved Ramp pattern to give a sharper, blacker sight image, yet still be good for holster carry in modern good quality gun leather. Our green tritium lamps are the brightest available and our Brite Orange ring gives a bright contrasting aiming point. This combination gives you a glowing feature visible through the greatest lighting spectrum from daylight to dark.
The front sight is .125” wide to allow placement of color contrasting features like gold beads, fiber optic rods or tritium lamps.
The HD Snake Sight front sight is offered in serrated plain black, with a fiber optic rod, or a flat faced 14k gold bead, high polished.
